PEER me Up assists with support for daily living and
social participation for participants of NDIS.
Who We Are
We are a team of confident, compassionate, creative people that believe in inclusion and specialise in peer support. We assist and supervise people; providing exceptional enrichment and capacity building development opportunities to our clients. We offer people needing support an opportunity to create and build their own unique experiences through our wide range of skill-building and social activities. Our clients choose how they would like to be supported and we help them along their journey each step of the way in order to get to their end goals. Our PEERs mentor, encourage and assist to plan daily tasks and life skills for our members to work toward reaching their short term and long term goals. Our younger clients find working with another younger person brings out a mutual understanding and enables our clients to feel supported within a generational group that has similar likes, passions, and purposes. This one on one service allows participants to do things at their own pace.
WHAT WE DO
Our PEER's offer individual support in the home or out in the community ; mentoring and assisting you to learn at your own pace with life skills and community participation. We offer one on one assistance to live an active life and give encouragement and support to reach your short term and long term goals.
We work together to plan, create and implement new ways of learning and help to breakdown and simplify tasks. Doing this with a person of a similar age enables you to share these experiences with someone that can relate to your experiences and passions.
We assist to build confidence, co operation, participate in group environments, experience new challenges, learn new tasks, explore new places and create new friendships.
One step at a time and at your own pace.
We work with young people from age 7 up.
IN HOME SUPERVISION & ASSISTANCE TO BUILD DAILY SKILLS
Build capacity in area's of cooking, cleaning, laundry, organise living spaces, make appointments, entertain friends, computer skills, yard maintenance to name a few
JOIN A COMMUNITY OR SOCIAL GROUP
Have a PEER assist you to attend community events, concerts, exciting new places, travel, appointments and outings.
FIND YOUR INTEREST
PEER's can assist you to do what interests you. Things like interact with animals, visit your friends, find a creative outlet, explore new places, participate in a hobby and explore employment options

Our co-ordinator will contact you to arrange a meeting, and develop a support plan or a one-off appointment. You can join us straight away if you are NDIS SELF or PLAN managed.
*If you are AGENCY managed you can arrange for a portion of your funding to be managed separately so you can utilise our services.
If you are not on NDIS, that's okay! We can still assist you.
